durcrete is primarily concerned with ready to use solutions of Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC) or cement-bound mineral casting for mechanical engineering. The components are integrated into machine beds of tooling machines, test benches or underframes of handling units. Further applications are safety barriers for the building industry. Depending on applications, our self-compacting concretes are free of plastics, fibres and reinforcement. Casting compounds are stirred with water, poured into moulds and processed without vibration for compacting. They harden without any application of energy, solvents are not needed and concrete is easy to be recycled.Machine constructions of concrete benefit from excellent damping properties and simultaneously flexible tensile strength. The mineral based and non-flammable ultra high strength concrete can be poured into any desired mould. Cement-bound mineral casting can be cut, drilled, grinded, smoothed and painted afterwards. Mounting parts such as steel rails and threaded sleeves are cast in. During the following precision, machining concrete will be grinded, steel rails will be milled and drilled. The customized production of the machine beds takes place in specialised plants and includes mould construction, embedded parts, painting as well as precision machining.As hybrid or sandwich structure, the high-strength grouting mortar durfill has been conceived as a solution for machine beds and frames. If welded steel parts are filled with the grouting compound of UHPC, vibrations are dampened and the natural frequency is influenced in a targeted way. The high strengh dry concrete durfill is delivered by silo trucks or in bags and is pumped into the machine part after mixing with water.The UHPC recipe used by durcrete is based on the NANODUR binder from Dyckerhoff GmbH.
