EMO Hannover 2019,
16 - 21 September
A Panel discussion at EMO 2019 presented by IIOT WORLD
The Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) space is hot, yet implementations have historically had a high rate of failure. What is contributing to these failure rates and what needs to change? One of the primary reasons is the inability to create the rapid value that justifies their undertaking. To realize the immediate and continuous opportunity promised when undertaking an Industry 4.0 digital transformation initiative, companies are now packaging low-touch, rapidly deployable systems that feature best-of-breed digital technologies enabled by the cloud to expedite implementation and time to value.
In this panel presented by IIoT World will explore common approaches for enabling Industrial IoT initiatives, their pros and cons, and their culpability for the high failure rate, as well as then introducing a new approach to enable industry 4.0 success through “out-of-the-box” applications that are already driving rapid, continuous value for manufacturers.
