As the company reports, the goal was to develop a genuine machine for stand-alone solutions and interlinked production lines that is compact, efficient and state-of-the art in terms of technology. The new MCC series is equipped with a new in-house developed A-axis with a large swiveling area for highest flexibility. The company insists that all the merits of its large machining centers, such as accuracy, high stiffness and availability, are included in the series with the addition of particular economic efficiency. The series is seen as a key component in Smart Manufacturing solutions. By providing condition data, the super-ordinate systems of the user are reportedly able to organize production and maintenance proactively, reduce downtimes, and enhance the plant availability. Equipped with the very latest technology, the range can be easily interlinked, is ready for digital networking in self-organized production processes and can be completely integrated into the customer MES infrastructure.
