The manufacturing process requires a variety of technological and economic data for production. For this purpose, the company has developed software modules to provide machines and workplaces with all necessary manufacturing data and information. Alongside automatic Tool Data Collection (TDC) and CNC-integrated tool organization, the fully revised smart tool database will be presented as a highlight. As a result, tools with several cutters (multi-tools) can be defined for example. Automatic part time collection will also be demonstrated to optimize the production process of parts manufacturing. Directly integrated into the CNC control, this software is said to report deviations from default times during a production process both reliably and in real time. By analyzing the average flow rate, users can also record the power efficiency of the machine during production. A further development on show is the direct integration of the DNC-operator dialog into the Heidenhain control. As the exhibitors point out, their solution thus allows all necessary data to be available to the operator directly on the control of an additional manufacturer.
Software modules for integrated production data management
In addition to automatic tool data collection and CNC-integrated tool organization, rwt will be focusing on a completely revised smart tool database at EMO Hannover 2017.
