Thanks to the redesigned machine frames and the high-tech machine control, the ball screws can now be rolled in class C3 and C5. The range of 2RP Evolution rolling machines presents a new machine design that is claimed to revolutionize roller forming. Designed according to precise FEM analysis and functional tests, the new machines are able to cancel the smallest of bends in the trickiest rolling processes. As a result, the manufacturers explain, the weight of the machines increased by 300 percent and they have become the most suitable machines to meet aerospace, nuclear and automotive tolerances. Also remarkable is the new system to adjust the rolling horizontal angle, completely restructured for a simple setup, which at the same time ensures a much stronger blocking. A further merit of the series is the auto-swiveling system. This has been intensively tested and is reportedly seen today as the most precise and most automated solution available that is capable of machining products like ball screws in the class C3, an operation which is normally considered inaccessible to rolling processes.
