The Zerobot system is said to provide flexible automation even for small series of five pieces or more and respond rapidly to changes in production. The main element is a robust four-axis robot developed by the company that provides a handling weight of up to 100 kg. Large components (640x320 mm) are inserted on pallets, whereas smaller components (200x180 mm) can be inserted directly on centering clamping fixtures without additional pallets or raising systems. The robot arm can be easily moved by hand and the height can be adjusted via the hand wheel. It can therefore be used as a crane in manual operation. At the same time, the exhibitors insist, the robot can be set up for a production order with just a few teach points, without the need for robotics training or programming experience. The system is available in two variants. A lift truck can be used to replace the racks on the Zerobot 100-P, which provides a large amount of storage space with up to three racks. The new Zerobot 100-V is even more compact with a rotating double rack and can be quickly moved to a different machine tool using a lift truck.
