This version also uses a novel rail-and-lock concept to allow the element to be replaced or re-organized without the need to completely dismantle the assembly. This is billed as an industry first for segmented progressive dividers and enables the quick modification or replacement of an assembly element without the cost of a separate base porting module. Moreover, the lubrication cycle can be controlled by a single sensor that incorporates the company's solid-state Ultra-Sensor system for monitoring spool movement in progressive divider elements. The compact metering elements on show have different working configurations that make them flexible enough for use in multiple applications.
Metering dividers for the volumetric distribution of oils and grease
The nano-Progressive (nP) dividers from Dropsa have been developed for oil and grease lubrication applications that require small and accurately dispensed quantities of lubricant in a compact, solid and reliable footprint. Thanks to a patented new Rigid-Lock locking mechanism between the elements, they have the locking strength of monoblock distributors but the flexibility of a modular unit.
