The magnetic filter finds effective application with coolants, grinding fluids, washing fluids up to 80°C, and other fluids with ferritic particles. The magnetic field is created by permanent magnets, which means that no energy has to be used to establish the field. The forwarding of the transport band occurs in intervals determined by the build-up of particles to a certain level. According to the manufacturers, the extremely strong permanent magnets create a magnetic field that ensures the filtration of very fine particles down to less than 10 micrometers. The forwarding intervals can be adjusted in the automatic magnetic filters, ensuring that the filter cake has the necessary drying time. The filter cake is removed on the manual magnetic filter (model 3.10 M) using a scraper.
