The Estarta-650 has been designed to meet current high-speed manufacturing demands for improved cycle times and maximized production. The machine can reportedly achieve 120 m/s in through-feed with CBN technology and with a minimized generation of vibrations. As the manufacturers point out, the ability to work at great speeds with maximum vibration absorption is a key element in the successful performance of highly demanding grinding processes. The grinding machine features linear motors, a granite bed, a drive head fitted with an additional support that dispenses with the cantilever, and an innovative damping system. It is also equipped with a rolling guide system, which provides greater sensitivity during movement. Since hydraulic equipment is superfluous as a result, the grinder is described as an environment-friendly machine that requires lower energy consumption and reduced maintenance. The requirements of completely automated manufacturing processes are fulfilled through the incorporation of customized automatic loading systems developed by the company, for instance integrated gantry or robot solutions as well as different measuring devices.
