At EMO Hannover 2017 the Versa 645 Linear will be showcased as a two-machine production cell together with the Versa 825 and the Erowa Robot Compact 80. This is billed as a compact, top-performing and very flexible automation system for enhanced productivity in the automated machining of single parts and small series. The two machining centers are equipped with a rack magazine for up to 225 and 250 tools respectively. With its well thought-through and compact design, the production units can reportedly be easily automated at any time. The basic equipment on the machines is claimed to provide all necessary features for precision machining and can be adapted to a wide variety of automation concepts. Optimum accessibility is ensured whether loading is conducted manually or automatically by robot.
High dynamic five-axis machining
