As a system supplier in clamping technology, the exhibitors recommend combining different clamping technologies to utilize the benefits of the individual systems. Vacuum and magnetic clamping plates as well as multiple clamping systems on offer from the manufacturers are already designed with mounting holes as standard for the clamping pins of the zero-point clamping system. This allows fast conversion and adaptation of the workpiece and makes the clamping options almost unlimited. This is supplemented by modular construction kit systems and height adapters in the area of zero-point clamping technology, which are already used in prototyping. Within the Industry 4.0 domain, a rising demand is also seen for clamping equipment sensing options and these already form part of the company's standard product catalog.
Flexibility and automation as a focus
AMF has been particularly concerned with two core issues in zero-point clamping technology during recent years. Firstly, more flexibility through declining quantities as well as a wider variety of clamped components. Secondly, the desire for seamlessly integrated automation solutions that meet Industry 4.0 requirements and can best be offered as a standard product.
