    The Micropuls Everest plasma nitriding equipment is a superlative nitriding technology in the opinion of the exhibitors from Rübig. The system can be used in various branches of industry such as automotive, aviation, mechanical engineering or contract heat treatment. The constant development of the equipment and processes makes plasma nitriding an ideal modern solution for many applications, according to the company. With its Micropuls technology, Rübig has made its mark in successful heat treatment. This has been achieved by developing powerful, modular, in-house designed and precisely adjusted Micropuls generators. The SIR (Surface Improvement by Rübig) program stands for the new generation of gears and toothed components that undergo low-cost plasma nitriding in an environmentally friendly manner and do not require post-processing to improve their hardness. Gear requirements are said to be increasing, in terms of noise reduction, smaller sizes and higher torques. The required solutions are reportedly provided by the Austrian firm's plasma nitriding technology.
