KASTO Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG specializes in sawing and storage technology. Launched in 2016 to cut tubes, profiles and solid materials using both cross and miter cuts, the productive KASTOmicut range opens up new opportunities for workshop operators. The high-precision, high-quality cutting of various materials and the excellent price-performance ratio are particularly appealing. At the beginning of this year, KASTO added two new models with a larger cutting range to the KASTOmicut portfolio.
The KASTOmicut E 4.6 is suitable for round materials up to 335 millimeters in diameter and flat materials measuring up to 460 × 335 millimeters. It is specifically designed for miter angles on one side and for cuts ranging from 0 to 60 degrees. The E 4.6 combines a hydraulically controlled feed with mechanical blade and material tensioning. The cutting speed is infinitely adjustable between 20 and 110 meters per minute. The KASTOmicut U 4.6 is another new addition and can be used for flat materials up to 520 millimeters wide. A hydraulic horizontal clamping device is used for material tensioning, which helps makes handling easier while also increasing the output for small serial cuts. The cutting speed of the U 4.6 is steplessly adjustable between 12 and 150 meters per minute. What’s more, just like the smaller models in the KASTOmicut range, the U 4.6 supports infinitely variable miter cuts from -45 to 60 degrees. Last but not least, the heavy-duty, distortion-free saw frame ensures excellent blade stabilization for high-quality results, even with materials that are difficult to cut.
