As the Swiss exhibitors from Vischer und Bolli report, thanks to an optional floating slide with a swiveling range of plus/minus 2°, reliable clamping is possible even for very roughly sawn blanks that are not parallel. Two unequal parts can also be inserted into the vise if necessary with the aid of a floating central jaw. The gripper jaws installed as standard with an ultra-low clamping depth of only 2.6 mm reportedly ensure that there is no need for time-consuming pre-embossing. However, the varied range of jaws enables pre-embossed or finished workpieces to be clamped as well, if and when required. Moreover, the manufacturers point out, different mounting options allow for simple and precise fixing on all common machine tables and zero-point clamping systems.
