Schwäbische Werkzeugmaschinen (SW) will be exhibiting its latest machining centers, including two that will be presented for the first time with automation. A special focus will be on a modular loading cell, a world premiere that will show the automated loading of the BA W02-22 by an integrated six-axis robot and the machining of impellers. Another highlight will be the two-spindle BA 622 machining center. This features fully automatic equipment including the detection of non-machined parts using camera technology and will be highlighted as a system solution with a seven-axis robot portal. The company is also spotlighting its new, comprehensive Life service concept, which achieves maximum availability throughout the entire life of the machine. At the joint stand TUM/VDW/mav booth in Hall 25, the exhibitors will be demonstrating the two-spindle machining of spherical heads on the BA 422 with a special consideration of economic and energy-efficiency aspects.
