EMO is the world’s No. 1 trade show for the metalworking industry, featuring 2,200 exhibitors from 44 countries and over 180,000 square meters (approx.1.94 million sq. ft.) of net display space. Industry professionals with decision-making authority and technical expertise – including CEOs, board members and subject specialists from all production backgrounds – attend the show to learn about all the latest innovations.
EMO Hannover presents an unparalleled width and depth of products and services throughout all production areas, from machine tools and production systems for cutting and forming which form the heart of machining, precision tools, accessories and controller technology, to system elements and components for automated manufacturing.
EMO Hannover’s standing is such that the exhibiting technology providers align their innovation cycles with the show’s biennial schedule. Some 72 percent of the exhibitors at the last EMO Hannover had timed their new product launches to coincide with the show.
The show also features a captivating supporting program that heightens its innovation focus. In 2019, visitors can look forward to the new IoT in Production display section, which further underscores the show’s official motto, Smart technologies driving tomorrow’s production! The display section comprises a diverse offering, including the Industry 4.0 Special Show Area, the IoT Speakers’ Forum, and national pavilions showcasing initiatives from Spain, France, Japan, China and the USA.
