The sensoric toolholder spike is a wireless force transducer for the resulting axial loads as well as turning and bending moments during machining processes. The spike transmits forces and moments which are measured directly at the tool holder during the machining processes (for example milling, turning and drilling). The data are sent to the receiving station by radio and visualized.
