Kick-Off EMO Hannover 2011

Germany's machine tool industry is surging ahead. Production figures for the first half of 2011 are up 36 percent, and sales for the year as a whole are forecast to grow by at least 30 percent. That's according to a recent study conducted by PwC on behalf of the German Machine Tool Builders' Association (VDW). Germany's manufacturers are set to sweep the international market with their high-tech products - and EMO Hannover 2011 is a big part of this. As the world's foremost trade fair for metalworking technology, EMO Hannover is where big global players, mid-sized firms and research institutes showcase their latest tools, machines and processes.
