    Unlocking check valve series XT34-303

SMC has integrated a slider query into the new unlocking check valve of the XT34-303 series. As a result, the cyclic test routines for testing safety-orientated functions such as “safe stop” or “safe start-up” are unnecessary. Users immediately benefit in many ways: greater safety, fewer risks at the workplace, and longer uninterrupted machine running times. The new check valves can be installed directly on cylinders so that retrofitting is possible at any time in no time at all. The signal generator is co... read more

    Thermo-controllers from SMC

“People who are looking for thermo-controllers with water cooling for their processes will find the right solution at SMC,” is how Georg Puchnios from Product Management summarises SMC’s product portfolio. In addition to stand-alone solutions, tabletop and 19-inch rack mounted instruments and high-performing models for outdoor installation form part of SMC’s product range. Tempering baths and thermo-controllers with very precise Peltier technologies round out the offering. The product spectrum features a t... read more

    Reading display, PSE300AC series

The new reading displays of the PSE300AC series from SMC Deutschland feature two unique selling points: They can display the reading value, parameter and switching point in three subsegments all at the same time. Secondly, they feature an M12 connection cable on the front, which carries out the maintenance and replacement works in a trice. In practice, customers can benefit from the three-part display many times over. Complex setting procedures can be carried out, for example, in parallel with current read... read more

    Gap checker sensor ISA3 series

Lower air consumption, increase precision and reduce cabling work – these are the three highlights of the new gap checker sensors in the ISA3 series from SMC. For users, this means less energy consumption and therefore lower operating costs, as well as greater precision and shorter measuring distances. The range of applications of the new gap checker sensors is expanding to cover faster, more precise processes in quality control and in-process quality assurance.   > two-line, digital display with th... read more

    IO-Link Master and IO-Link Devices

With two new IO-Link Devices and a new IO-Link Master, SMC has three current products heading in the direction of I4.0. In the case of the proportional pressure regulator in the ITV series, the focus is on dynamic parametrisation and rapid adjustments to changing conditions. Thanks to the integrated cycle count for the controlled valves, the new field bus system of the EX260 series offers ideal conditions for predictive maintenance. An IO-Link Master (V1.1) has also been integrated into the modular EX600 c... read more

PRESS RELEASE: Investing in German production

Many German companies are relocating their production abroad. SMC is going the opposite way and is systematically focusing on “Made in Germany”. SMC Deutschland has purchased a total of 25 new production machines in the last two years. These include 4-5 state-of-the-art axis machines, CNC turning centres and milling centres, and most recently a new thread rolling machine. “Investing in our own production fulfils three goals,” explains Marius Pulter, Production Manager at SMC Deutschland. “In addition to sh... read more
