Minac is one of five product families produced by EFD Induction to perform almost every industrial heating task. The wide range of applications includes brazing, shrink fitting, hardening, curing, straightening, and heat treatment, whereby the company also points out that it can provide customized induction heating solutions. The versatile generators are reportedly suitable for heating all kinds of electrically conductive materials such as copper, aluminum, steel, stainless steel, brass or titanium. Many models come in a Twin version featuring two independent power outputs that can operate simultaneously. The manufacturers further stress the mobility of the solution, allowing the machines to be moved around a workshop or factory floor or loaded into a car or van and transported to other work sites. The units are available with maximum intermittent output power of 10 to 220 kW (6 to 140 kW continuous) and a frequency range of 10 to 280 kHz. Also highlighted is the simplicity of operation. Apart from the clear, menu-based and multi-language control panel, the handheld transformers (HHT) feature on/off and precise power controls for maximum ease of use. Flexible, water-cooled cables connecting the HHT to the converter allow easy access to workpieces.
