Soraluce claims to be turning innovation into real and tangible products and projects that set new standards in machining. In terms of the human-machine interface (HMI), the company has been working on defining friendlier and better environments in an advanced version. As is explained, a complete set of utilities has been developed on the HMI of the Heidenhain TNC 640 in order to achieve a user-friendly interface. As key merits of the system, the Spanish exhibitors single out soft keys, customized diagnosis masks, manufacturer cycles, dynamic collision monitoring and the advanced tool management. These utilities have been designed to ease frequent operations, enable recovering procedures for the indexing head, tool changer and pickup station after machine interruptions, empower diagnosis functions by personalized masks, and improve ergonomics.
