VERICUT software from CGTech Deutschland GmbH has been an industry standard for simulating, verifying and optimizing CNC machines since 1988. In fact, the only way companies can gain adequate certainty for their machining processes is by running production simulations for NC data – i.e. the machine code. That is the only reliable way users can simulate actual machining scenarios with a "desktop virtual machining center". VERICUT provides all necessary functions and is already being used in more than 55 countries, numerous sectors and companies of all sizes. VERICUT is entirely independent of control systems, CAM systems and CNC machinery, which means all CNC machines from established suppliers can be simulated.
The eighth version of VERICUT has now been launched in the run-up to EMO 2017 in Hannover, which is being held from 18 to 23 September. This new version boasts targeted improvements designed to make it much easier to analyze, optimize and document CNC programming and machining process on a day-to-day basis. New findings relating to workpieces and machining processes have also been incorporated to deliver even greater precision and efficiency. VERICUT 8.0 is CGTech’s response to the challenges involved in simulating ever more complex processes and machinery while also supporting ambitious production targets such as "zero errors from the very start". To ensure potential problems can be monitored and evaluated in an efficient and consolidated process, VERICUT 8.0 links together complex processes. As a result, users should benefit from faster programming and shorter machining cycles.
