    The Roller XL is a high-speed working center with fixed portal. The milling head with the motor spindle is mounted on a swivel axis (plus/minus 110°). The second rotary axis drives a rotary table that rotates 360°. According to the Italian manufacturers, the particularly stable machine design has been developed using modern FEM (Finite Element Method) software and is particularly resistant to vibration. The center enables the whole range of part machining, embracing high-speed roughing, drilling, tapping and super-finishing. Among the machine equipment, the company specifies the rotary table with its dimensions of 1,000x1,000 mm and maximum load capability of 3,500 kg. Further features highlighted include an automatic tool changer with 42 stations, a 50 bar internal coolant supply, and laser measurement of the tools. The travels in X, Y and Z are given as 2,000, 1,800 and 850 mm respectively and the feed rates in these three axes as 35,000 mm/min.
