The NBH 800 5X machining center features a highly stable swivel rotary table (B- on A-axis) where the X- and Y-axis are located with the tool. The axes Z, A and B guide the workpiece movement. As the German manufacturers claim, the jig boring machine concept thus enables very robust and thermostable machining. The technology is said to specifically cater to the highest demands in stability and precision. The swivel rotary table is seen as ideally suitable for the heavy-duty machining of complex workpieces, especially for the challenges of holes and contours in different solid angles and free-form surfaces. The rotary table can be used as an adjusting axis or for simultaneous machining. As is also pointed out, the zero-backlash double screw drive enables high swivel and feed torque in the A-axis for both precise and dynamic machining. The center is designed both for direct table loading and for the 180° palette changer.
Five-axis machining for heavy-duty cutting
Stability and high accuracy are the main focus when machining with the NBH 800 5X. With its stable swivel-type rotary table, the machining center from Zuse Hüller Hille is particularly suitable for the heavy-duty cutting of complex workpieces.
