The manufacturers point out that the 42 RB rotary brush machine series has already won the Reddot Design Award. The WWRBW model on exhibition is billed as the ultimate tool for deburring, finishing, removing laser oxide skin and edge-rounding in one pass. It can process parts whether they have been prepared by gas, plasma, laser or water-jet cutting processes, or whether they are punched, machined, flat or embossed. The company's brushing process is said to guarantee reliable deburring and edge-rounding down to a radius of 2 mm. The material to be processed can reportedly be steel, stainless steel, copper or aluminum, and may be galvanized, coated, laminated, or even printed. Moreover, the machines can also be integrated into a fully automatic processing line, for which new industrial standards are apparently in preparation. Also on show will be a Manual Grinder from the 10 series. This manually operated machine is described as a cost-effective mechanical alternative to the conventional grinding, deburring, finishing and even polishing of a range of components.
Complete deburring and reliable edge-rounding of workpieces
Timesavers International will be bringing a model from their 42 RB rotary brush machine series to EMO Hannover 2017. According to the exhibitors, the WWRBW has a working width of 1,350 mm and is primarily suitable for deburring, finish grinding and removing the oxide skins occurring during laser cutting. The rounding of the workpiece edges can also be carried out in the same operation.
