As the company points out, this technology allows for highly compact and space-saving systems. One of the most common variants is the telescope linear motion bearing. As the manufacturers explain the principle, the guiding consists of a profile rail on the outer side in which a ball-guided rail runs. The balls roll in linear raceways, thus enabling movement of the inner profile within the outer profile and therefore an extraction. A second popular version is the linear motion bearing-run carriage system. These products allow a reliable and economic linear movement of machine parts. Their specific characteristics lie in long-term and maintenance–free operation, a long service life, dynamic running behavior and noiseless running. Typical uses singled out by the German exhibitors for their systems include the housings of machine tools as well as pullouts, for instance those used in the railway supply industry, in medical technology or in warehouse logistics.
