Heule Werkzeug is becoming a globally recognized problem-solver. An example of application-optimized deburring tools is the back spot facing tool BSF.

Heule Werkzeug is known for their tools for the front and back deburring of bores in one single pass. What is new, according to the company, is the fact that now over 50 percent of the production volume are customized tools that have been designed for specific applications. The reason for this lies in modern components that possess more complex geometries and are made out of new materials. In addition, greater demands are being placed on deburring quality, process capability and efficiency. The recipe of the manufacturers to successfully meet these requirements is the further development of simple and reliable function principles. The BSF Back Spot Facing tool is seen as a good example for this strategy. The simple yet efficient tool allows back spot facing or back counter-boring in one operation without turning the workpiece. As the exhibitors explain, starting the spindle with the recommended activation speed, the blade swings out into working position and the retraction of the blade is controlled with the pressure of the coolant. The Swiss specialists have recently been honored with the ZF Excellence Award for the development of an alternative process for the deburring of bores. Specifically, this related to a solution for deburring cross bores based on the recently designed CBD (Cross Bore Deburring) tool.
