The internet portal www.karriere-im-maschinenbau.org of the VDMA (The German Engineering Federation) is a comprehensive information platform on training slots and sandwich courses for schoolchildren and students.

• for schoolchildren: what are the most important career profiles and courses in the sector? Which companies in my region provide training in these careers?
• for students: at which companies can I attend sandwich courses, where can I ask about support for dissertations?
• for teachers: which companies are available for plant tours and where are sandwich courses offered?

Currently, there are around 3,400 offers in the database, from more than 600 VDMA member firms.
