The Shark is billed by Acsys as the first choice for engravings, reliefs, filigree structures, or 3D form production. The robust construction of polymer concrete ensures high-temperature stability with the optimum vibration absorption that is indispensable for highly precise results. The broad work area offers enough space for large parts. A powerful, water-cooled high-tech laser source with up to 150 watts of output power and high-speed writing heads are claimed to guarantee highest precision and top surface quality. The system can be equipped with up to five moveable axes and offers the flexibility that can be expected from a high-end solution. According to the specific model, the parts, the laser or both can be trimmed. Ideal fields of application are seen in the production of embossing tools, 3D reliefs, sinking electrodes made of copper or graphite, form elements, printing plates and precision components, as well as the depth engraving of parts and the finishing of coin stamps. Thanks to the very good radiation characteristics, the solution is said to carry out all tasks in a short period of time and with high quality.
