On an area of around 1,200 m² in Hall 25, Booth C 03, the VDW and the DMG Training Academy, in conjunction with 24 partners communicated technology live thoughout the exhibition. They presented their capabilities and offers for tomorrow's professionals. The Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the Labour Agency provided information on how to start training for a career; exhibitors and instructors were on hand to answer questions. Trainees and young engineers provided information on their everyday work. Machine tools and robots were shown in action, whilst video clips and films rounded off the show. "KIM - a career in mechanical engineering" VDMA's internet portal at the fair was brokering trainees slots, hands-on training opportunities and offers for sandwich courses.
